Another week, another batch
Six new guides published last week, seven more this week, plus a new language. This is roughly the pace to expect going forward — see our board for the running list.
Plan department: packing and car rental
Two of the most-requested practical guides are live: a packing list covering what actually catches first-timers out, and a car rental guide covering when you genuinely need 4WD and what the insurance fine print actually means.
Stay department: Kauaʻi areas and a hotels directory
Kauaʻi areas compared completes the area-comparison set for all four main islands. Alongside it, our first pass at a hotels & resorts directory is live — a starting shortlist of well-known properties by island, honest about being a shortlist rather than a full review yet.
Food department: bakeries and coffee farms
Two more additions: a guide to Hawaiian bakeries (Portuguese sweet bread, malasadas, manju, mochi) and a guide to Kona coffee farm tours, including what actually separates a good tour from a gift-shop stop.
New language: French
Following Spanish and Japanese, the homepage is now live in French — the third of the planned 16 languages. See our language rollout plan for what's next.
What's next
Individual hotel and resort reviews, a farmers-markets-by-island guide, and a shave ice map are next on the board.
